Thank you for visiting our website. The March for Life has delivered the prolife message to our nation's capitol every year since 1974. On or near each anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision that legailzed abortion in America, we organize a protest rally and march on Washington, DC. Our purpose is to continually remind our national leaders that abortion is abhorent to the majority of Americans and to press them to take action to eliminate it. Thanks to people like you, the number of marchers grows each year. The estimated count for 2011 was well over 400,000. Our goal is to increase that number in 2012 and every year thereafter until abortion in America is a thing of the past. The March for Life Education and Defense Fund is a 501 (c) (3) organization incorporated in the District of Columbia. It is a grassroots operation that relies on volunteers to operate the march, and primarily on individual donors for financial support. We have no employees. Our overhead expenses are limited to those that are essential to operating the rally and the march; and in meeting the administrative standards that are required of all publically supported charities.
