Thank you, Marchers, for making the 2012 March for Life our biggest and best ever. We admire your unconditional support for life, and we are heartened by your dedication to protecting the preborn. A cold winter rain in Washington, DC did nothing to dampen your enthusiasm. As usual, you carried yourselves with dignity and grace. In the face of opposition protestors who did everything they could to disrupt our peaceful March, you maintained your composure, sometimes patiently offering to refute their arguments, and completed your mission without incident. We hope you are as proud of your effort as we are. Please continue to stand firm in your convictions. You are a compelling voice for life, and when we stand together behind the Life Principles our unified voice becomes immeasurably stronger. We raised that voice on Monday, January 23, 2012. Be assured that we were heard far beyond the narrow confines of Capitol Hill. Now that you have returned to your homes and communities, we ask you to give our voice an enduring echo that will resonate from sea to shining sea, and from every mountain top, pronouncing freedom for the preborn—a freedom that they can enjoy only if they are first guaranteed their right to life.
